Our Tanzanian processing operation in Mtwara — covering the cashew and sesame programmes — is certified under the Tanzania Bureau of Standards framework, the national benchmark for food handling and export quality.

Coverage

Handling, processing, storage and packing of cashew and sesame in Tanzania. Cardamom is cured and graded in the Eastern Arc highlands; honey is settled, strained and drummed in the producing region; coffee is milled and graded at origin; avocados are packed in dedicated fresh-produce packhouses that hold their own scheme certification.

No lot leaves without its lab panel: aflatoxin and moisture for cashew and sesame, volatile oil and moisture for cardamom, screen analysis, moisture and a cupping score for green coffee, dry matter before harvest for avocados, and moisture, HMF, diastase and sugar profile for honey — plus any parameter the destination market regulates. Results are matched to the buyer's jurisdiction before despatch.

Every consignment traces back through our intake records to named growing areas and a defined harvest window — the southern cashew districts, the central sesame belt, the Kilimanjaro and Southern Highlands coffee slopes, the Eastern Arc cardamom highlands, the Njombe avocado orchards and the western miombo woodland our honey is taken from.
